How it works
What works today, and what arrives at launch
This page separates what Standby does right now from what opens at launch, so nothing has to be deduced. We'd rather under-promise.
Live now
What you can do today
Step 1
Read the coverage guides
Free, cited, and current. Find out whether CHAMPVA, TRICARE, or the VA already covers what you need, because if they do, that's usually your best move. Start reading.
Step 2
Join the waitlist
One email field and two optional questions. It's free, it's the only signup that exists, and it decides onboarding order at launch. Save your spot.
That's the whole list. Nothing on this site prescribes medication today, no checkout exists, and nothing ships. Anyone telling you otherwise isn't us.
At launch
How care will run when programs open
Step 1
Complete an online intake
Your health history, current medications, and what you're trying to do, in one sitting, from your phone.
Step 2
A licensed clinician reviews it
A real review with a real license on the line. Prescriptions happen only when the clinician decides the medication is appropriate, and the answer can be no.
Step 3
Cash-pay care at the posted price
The price you saw on the pricing page is the price. Medication ships to your door if prescribed, check-ins run through your plan, and no claim ever touches your benefits.
Who Standby is not for
Emergencies and crisis
If you're in danger or seriously unwell right now, call 911 or get in-person care today. In crisis, dial 988, then press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line.[1]
Care your benefits already cover
If TRICARE, CHAMPVA, or the VA covers it and the timeline works for you, use your benefits. Our guides exist to help you confirm that before you spend a dollar of your own.
Complex conditions needing hands-on care
Some care shouldn't happen over a screen. Where an in-person exam is the right call, or the law requires one, that's what we'll tell you.
